Regional Education Conference on e-Learning Conference

The Ministry of Education in patnership with Kenya ICT Trust Fund, Microsoft, UNESCO and ICWE Africa welcome to the Regional Education Conference on e-Learning scheduled from 29th to 31st March at Kenya Instute of Edcucation (KIE), Nairobi ,Kenya.

Regional Education Conference on e-Learning "Transforming Education Through e-Learning" will be a forum to explore, identify and synergize innovative approaches for harnessing the potential of ICT to address issues of equity, access and education for all. Sub-thematic areas will include:

  • Digital content
  • Capacity Building
  • Infrastructure
  • Connectivity
  • ICT Intergration in Education

Regional Education Conference on e-Learning 2010 aims at mobilizing over 2000 school heads, teachers and education stakeholders in Kenya. Key issues to be discussed will be ICT in education and how it maps to Vision 2030. High level policy and decision makers, practitioners, educationists and stakeholders from education, government and the private sector are expected to attend to discuss policy and priority areas for ICT in education. There will be demonstrations and exhibitions from various participants to present their latest services and products in IT for education. Regional Educational Conference on e-Learning 2010 will provide world-class experts, practical demonstrations, debates as well as informal networking opportunities to share experiences, new information and perspectives for Kenyan teachers. Regional Education Conference on e-Learning 2010 is a key event for education practitioners and stakeholders from Kenya.

Conference Fee Details

Conference delegates fee: Ksh 4500 (60 USD) for 3 days which covers Lunch and Tea.

Exhibtion stands fee: Ksh 45,000 (563 USD). The provisions include 1 table, 2 seats, lighting.

ICT Intergration Award Nomination

This award recognizes an educator who has made exemplary contributions to the implementation and use of ICT in Kenyan schools through integration in school curriculum. To nominate an educator go to nominations page.
